Hello,

I wasn't sure if this was the right place to report errors. When I run Drafft from Linux, the program crashes when I get to the “Gallery” section. When I run it from the terminal, the error message that appears is this:

ERROR:/__w/sharp/sharp/node_modules/@img/sharp-libvips-dev/include/vips/VImage8.h:134:vips::VObject& vips::VObject::operator=(const vips::VObject&): assertion failed: (!a.vobject || VIPS_IS_OBJECT(a.vobject))

Bail out! ERROR:/__w/sharp/sharp/node_modules/@img/sharp-libvips-dev/include/vips/VImage8.h:134:vips::VObject& vips::VObject::operator=(const vips::VObject&): assertion failed: (!a.vobject || VIPS_IS_OBJECT(a.vobject))

Hello, thanks for reporting! I think I have a clue of what this is about, can you share info about your distro/architecture?

Thanks!

I use Garuda Linux, which is based on Arch Linux. I started with this version but I changed the desktop environment to MATE after a while. Hope this is enough information :)

Developer

thanks! could you try v.11? I added a missing dependency. this is x64 right?

I've tried it with v.12 and now it works wonderfully well! Thanks!

One small unrelated issue: It seems that the new version doesn't detect the license activation of the previous version, so I had to activate it again (which means I have used 2 activations out of 5) and download again the sample project.

In any case, I can start working with this. I'm loving the program so far :)

Developer

Great thanks for confirming! The dangling activation is a side effect for a fixed bug in v12. You can manage your activation here: https://app.lemonsqueezy.com/my-orders/ or let me know your email and I can do it. (can reach me via support@drafft.dev)

Thank you!
