I dont have the itch.io version of juice galaxy and I just tried messing around with the miss slithers dialogue I used a copy ofc incase I mess something up and ik I can make an assemply c sharp copy but I might still mess smthin up so I prefer to not do that(any time I launch the game it just closes it and tries to launch/install the juice galaxy on steam)

Heya, sounds like a fun project.
It's the Steam api activating and trying to load the game from Steam.

You can disable it by going into the Stuff folder:
Stuff -> metadata -> release.json

and edit the line that says:

    "vendor": "Steam"

   to something like:

    "vendor": "not Steam"
