accidentally messed up some draw orders, positions, etc., but the standard control-z undo function doesn't seem to be a thing? am i missing something? same with selecting multiple layers / assets?

Yes, both features aren't implemented yet, but they are planned to be added at some point. I am not too sure when, but I have them in mind ^^
