"Thieves" - A new type of Thief Sim

This project is one I have been working on for almost three days and I am getting closer and closer to an Alpha Release, and it's all thanks to my favorite game engine Unity. Inspired by Payday 2, Overwatch, and Escape from Tarkov "Thieves" is an early prototype that can be considered either a unique title or a mix of all three titles, with the game carrying parts of the realism from Escape from Tarkov, Payday 2's heist system, and Overwatch like abilities such as a shield that the player can hold to be invulnerable to bullets for 5 or more seconds (I haven't decided yet.).

So far I have these features in the game:

  • Weapon System
  • Movement
  • Reloading and Inspect Weapon Animations
  • Simple Player Inventory for Weapons (Not used yet)
  • Enemies (They don't move they just spawn at 3 random spots in the test area)
  • Low Poly Art (I want to stick with this, but right now the placeholder art I have is not good)
  • Small Room with a light (I have never made lighting in Unity before, just testing it out)

Also for those wondering why it looks so lazily built is because I am a programmer not an artist, and I am 15 years old.

Itch Game Page (I may or may not have broken the last update for the dev build, so I am fixing this at the time this is up)

The new "Fixed™" version of the dev build should be out soon.

The fixed version is up now btw. This game is also no longer a prototype as I have realized that some people in the discord want this game. So this game is for them and everyone else that wants to play it.
