Hey, I’m Francis, a MSc sound designer with an interest for creating immersive audio experiences in games, films, and other interactive media. Be it crafting unique sound effects, designing atmospheric environments, or integrating sound into game engines.

- Sound Design: I specialise in creating custom sound effects, ambient sounds, and immersive soundscapes. I use a mix of field recordings, synthesis, and sound manipulation to bring everything to life. My main DAW is REAPER.
- Audio Implementation: I’m experienced in integrating sound into Unity using Wwise, ensuring everything runs smoothly and enhances the overall experience.
- Original Game Development: I developed my own game, Sounding the Apocalypse, where I designed and implemented all the sound, including a fully original soundtrack, using Wwise in Unity. Further conducting QA testing for every new asset/event added in.
- Film & Media: I’ve worked on sound design for film projects, always hoping to tell a story through the audio, whether it’s creating tension or building atmosphere. I have experience on film/TV sets with field recording and boom operation.
- Innovative Techniques: I enjoy experimenting audio techniques, including ambisonics, convolution reverb, and impulse responses to create rich, dynamic environments, which I have implemented into my game projects.
