Chinese translation problems

I have prepared a language translation document following the "Translation Pack Guide." I am translating it into Chinese. During testing, with a small number of words, replacing the ArgosGeorge.fnt and ArgosGeorge1.png in the jar file allows the text to be displayed in the game. However, due to the large number of Chinese characters, the generated fnt file results in several PNG images. Replacing the original ArgosGeorge.fnt file directly causes an error, preventing the game from launching. How should I modify the battleui.json file to support more PNG images, or how can I add a new font in the translations file?

There was an attempt to make a Chinese translation already. I know people translated the whole game at some point. But there was a problem with fonts as I recall. Basically people needed to create a custom Chinese font that would be compatible with the game, or it didn't work.

I don't know if technical side changed since then.
