Hello everyone!
I'm thrilled to share an exciting opportunity to collaborate on a passion project - a top-down rogue-like strategy RPG inspired by the beloved games FTL and Creeper World. I'm aiming to create a unique blend of procedural exploration, strategic resource management, and real-time tactical combat.

- Platform: Unity PC
- Visual Style: Charming pixel art (think FTL)
- Core Mechanics: Strategic resource management, tactical space combat, and planet-based base-building
- Key Features:
- Endless adventures with procedurally generated galaxies and planets
- Unique Creeper-like corruption mechanics affecting crew and planets
- Seamless blend of space exploration and planet-based gameplay
Looking For:
An enthusiastic indie developer/designer who's passionate about crafting engaging gameplay experiences. If you have experience with:
- 2D game design and pixel art
- Procedural generation techniques
- Real-time tactical combat systems
- Resource management mechanics
...then I'd love to hear from you!
What You'll Need:
- Ability to design cohesive game systems
- A keen eye for pixel art aesthetics
- Solid game development skills in Unity
Portfolio Requirements:
Please share your portfolio showcasing:
- Indie game development experience
- 2D pixel art projects with a cohesive visual style
- Game UI design samples (pixel art style)
- Gameplay mechanics implemented in Unity
Don't worry if you don't have top-down experience - I'm interested in any work that demonstrates your ability to create cohesive game elements within a pixel art style.
A Friendly Note: If your portfolio doesn't cover all areas, no worries! However, I may ask you to complete some skill tests to showcase missing abilities.
Let's Talk Compensation:
I'm offering 300-700 EUR per milestone, depending on the scope and timeline we establish together. I'm open to using platforms like Fiverr/deposit if necessary for peace of mind, and I'm very flexible about using AI-generated or pre-existing resources as long as the final product feels cohesive.
Looking Ahead:
I'm hoping this project leads to a long-term collaboration. As the funder, I'm committed to its success, and if it performs well, I'd be thrilled to continue our partnership.
I'm also open to discussing shared earnings as opposed to compensation, or a mixture of both, to make this work for both of us.
If you're excited about bringing an amazing game to life and want to be part of this adventure, let's chat!
