This game I made is about 3 years in development, but has been published only month ago. The development process was and remains interesting, exciting, yet troublesome process. I've learned many things about game development during that time, but sometimes it's hard to move forward blindfolded, without a guidance or feedback. So that's a shame I can't visit GDC. Talking with real people who mastered their craft for decades shold be amazing.
I'd be very grateful if you check out my game: https://arrowhead-interactive.itch.io/mechapocalypse-proving-grounds .
It's about walking robots and customisztion, "an embreed of Kerbal Space Program and Battletech". I'm trying to upload updates every week. With itch.io's butler it's much easier then I thought it would be, but sometimes making one takes more time.
I also shared my vision of lootboxes system here: https://arrowhead-interactive.itch.io/mechapocalypse-proving-grounds/devlog/7136...
Don't know if I should repost it here, to General board. I'm still exploring this resource.
