#notGDC and finishing my first game HexaCycle

Hi everyone!

After getting laid off from my previous job last year I found myself in a position to try and follow my dream of being an indie game dev making the games that I wanted to make. I've been hard at work on my first game HexaCycle since October of last year, a logic puzzle game with a unique set of mechanics. Unfortunately I'm not at a point where I can make it to GDC but I'm hoping to make it next year!

HexaCycle is getting closer to full release, but right now it can be found in early access right here on itchio: https://abigthinkgames.itch.io/hexacycle

Right now all the puzzles are procedurally generated, but I'm working  on adding a set of handmade levels. There should be a set of 32 levels coming very soon to the early access build, and I'm hoping to have around 100 levels for full release. Other than making the handmade levels the only other big thing before its ready for full release is getting the art style finalized and polished!

I will be launching on steam as well, and I'm hoping to release on the switch and possibly other platforms after.

Much thanks to Itchio for providing an easy place for indie devs to put up there game and start getting it out there for feedback. I've already gotten some great feedback during early access to make the full release even better!
