✍🏽Ordinance:

The power will decide what to do in regards of the event or boon. This an overview phase, time will pass as quickly as needed to the order take effect.

⚖️Judgement:

Opposite player will roleplay a pleb reacting to the Ordinance outcome, their objective is to make a situation where the power has to either spend a tally or gain one through innaction, the situation has to be decisive.

Terms Brainstorm:

White Knight

Caput Mortuum:

The death of the King or God

Zero Hora:

Virtus Meter combined difference reach six(to refine) a battle is issued

Horrorum higher side attacks and can kill Fidelitas can only defend.

PDF Versions:

Vitral

Gilded

Manuscriptus

Parchemin

"What's a God to a Non-believer?"

"Gods don't pray."

"There are no Kings in nature."

"A kings crown is heavy but not in the kings brow."

"The Gods we can touch."

battle system:

start > zero hora

I made an attempt for an advanced battle system for players who want brutal and quick campaigns. I still think it needs to be more complex maybe the strategy leading to it.

To avoid messing with the tallies since it can't be used in battle I will use the tally count as modifier in the randomized attacks.

Before the battle attacker can decide to use tallies, the tallies cant be used to directly enhance battle, it will remain virtus dynamic, spend tallies to please your pleb and avoid Caput Mortuum, or keep them to have more fire power.

Min:

Tally 7 to 9 = +2

Tally 4 to 6 = +1

Tally 1 to 3 = 0

Number of lacking tallies on defender side is squadrons, attacker positive tallies is their life, but the actual virtus meter wont be changed.

Each squadron needs to be defeated, squadron life is the tally count halfed and rounded up, if number is hit, squadron dies, if it fails, the number rolled is the damage taken.

First to reach zero lose.

If Horrorum (attacker) loses must roll a d6 of tallies to add, this changes the virtus meter.

1-2=+1

3-4=+2

5-6=+3

If reaches 10 tallies Caput

Mortuum is triggered.

end> caput mortuum

remembering that this is just the corpse mechanic the game itself is meant to happen in the soul(roleplay) if crunch mechanics and not discussing morals is ur thing, this might not be interesting for u. all my games are very roleplay intentional and i have no interest in execute complex math between people as idea of ttrpg.
