Library of Babel 3D

Experience the Library of Babel from the short story by Jorge Luis Borges in 3D · By Keiwan

A simulation or a game?

Hello,

I make videos and I am interested in the Library of Babel.
Since there is a bit of mystery when we start the game,  and after having walked around in the hexagons, I wonder: does it stop at a simulation or is there something that I did not understand?
Have a good day.

Hi! It's just a simulation / interactive experience. There are no game objectives or anything like that.

Thank you for your reply!

I have another question, a little more technical this time.

I would like to know if you have a complete list of the phrases that appear when you fall down the library.

I’m currently working on this topic for a future video, and your game could help me to present the subject. So I would need to be sure that I did not miss any sentence.

If your answer is negative, you know that you already help me enormously just by the existence of this game/ simulation.

Have a good day.

It just picks a random sentence from this translation of the short story: https://maskofreason.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/the-library-of-bab...

Thank you very much for your reply!

Your project is already helping me tremendously, and I really appreciate the time you took to answer me in a clear and orderly manner.

The project I’m preparing may take me a lot of time (I hope not more than 6/8 months), and I would share it with you if you wish when I have finished. You will obviously be mentioned in the description (unless you do not want to).

Anyway, thank you for your answer and have a good day.

Sure, I'd love to see it when it's done! You can also contact me at keiwando.com/contact, so it doesn't get lost in my itch.io notifications.

Good luck with your project!
