"The Walk" follows Matt, whose car breaks down in a remote area called Nominal Town. Stranded with no help, he starts walking through the eerie town in search of lodging. A blind man warns him that the town is full of crazy people and that there's nothing at the end of the road, but Matt ignores him. He stops at a store where the cashier is also baffled by Matt's destination, insisting there's nothing there but empty fields. Despite these warnings, Matt presses on and encounters an old woman who reacts strangely as he continues his mysterious journey.
