Hello! I'm mocchachino, a (junior) solo game developer~

I want to share my first game that is currently in development and I'm active in improving it!





The game is still in early development and is now updated to ver. 0.2

What's new in this version?

  • Updated: Overall UI

          ● Improvements to the overall UI in certain areas, this is still in progress.

  • Updated: Pause Menu rebuilt

          ● More menu options have been added and the graphics have been improved. Also added experimental button indicators that appear at the bottom of the screen.

  • Updated: Inventory System

          ● Script improved for proper functionality.

          ● Several bug fixes.

          ● The item received in inventory has been improved and several issues from the previous version have been fixed.

          ● New addition: Players can now hover the cursor over slot items and see the info for each item on the slot.

  • Updated: Time System

          ● Script improved for proper functionality.

          ● Some bug fixes.

          ● TIme advancing system is further improved.

          ● New addition: The player can now press the TIme Skip button to select and skip to a specific time period.

  • Updated: Assets Art improvement

          ● Several art assets have been improved.

  • Updated: Battle System

          ● Script improved for proper functionality.

          ● Some bug fixes.

          ● Now it uses the Hurtbox and Hitbox systems for better and easier damage management.

  • New addition: Pop-up Notification

          ● Added notification functionality that appears when a specific action/event occurs.

  • New addition:  Lore Menu

         ● Lore about the world-building of the project is available. This can be accessed from the pause menu. Only a few are being added at the moment.

  • New addition: Actor Progression

         ● Added actor level, experience, and basic stat system to actors. Few stats are implemented such as basic vitality, strength, and resistance.

  • New addition: Map transition (Very experimental)

         ● Map transition from inside to outside buildings is now implemented. Only a few buildings are affected at the moment.

The project is now updated to ver. 0.3!

What's new in this version?

[1]: New addition: 'Item Use' functionality.     Players will now be able to use items in their bags, although this is currently limited to certain types of items.

[2]: New addition: Item info now includes 'Item type'.

    This can be viewed in the bag menu.

[3]: New addition: Hit effect

    Added basic hit effect in combat.

[4]: Art assets

    Art assets is further improved .

[5]: Issue fixes: Strange behaviour of character collision further improved.

    Not completely fixed yet, still need to investigate further.

[6]: Issue fixes: Improved bag system item stacking and scripting.

    Ranged attack now requires a specific 'Battle Item' in the bag.

[7]: Issue fixes: The issue where nothing happened when the player's vitality reached 0 has been fixed.     The player will be taken to the game-over screen when their vitality reaches 0.

[8]: Issue fixes: Improved localization method.     Now both languages are displayed correctly when switching back and forth.

    Note that some parts still needed to be reloaded by changing the map for the localization to be displayed correctly.

[9]: Issue fixes: Fixes to some parts of the UI.

Some notes:

    The project is still in early development, so expect technical problems to occur.

    Also, some of the features provided are still experimental and have issues. 

    Some strings should still appear in the KEY_VALUE form and not fully localized yet.

    Expect to get stuck in certain areas of the map because the collision is not yet properly set up and optimized.
