Hi!

I frankly dislike advertising myself but I thought I might give it a shot regardless since maybe someone would be interested!

Requiem For a Lost World is completely free and can be found on my itch.io page with some screenshots and devlogs if you want to learn more. It's playable both on PC and Android, with Android having some delay in updates- sorry about that.

Fair warning, since I know some people will hate - it uses AI assets for the moment since I can't draw, artists are fairly expensive and I won't make any money from it. But if there ever is enough interest I'm more than willing to hire an artist!

So, with that out of the way.

What is Requiem For a Lost World?

Requiem For a Lost World is a 3D survivors-like with general stylized anime aesthetic. Player will take control of one of 17 characters (as of post date) to fight against waves of enemies. Killing enemies reward experience and with each level up you need to choose an upgrade or an additional weapon. The ultimate goal is to survive until the final boss of the stage spawns.

Main features:

  • 3D stylized graphics with some customizations
  • Unique characters with their individual skills and upgrades, synergizing with different builds
  • Runes that allow you to customize builds outside of game
  • Elemental reactions bringing more depth into your choices
  • A CO-OP mode to play with friends
  • Twitch integration, still in early development access but actively being worked on
  • **Optional** gacha mechanic with in game currency
  • Waifus I guess

If any of that sounds interesting I hope you can give it a go and maybe leave some feedback while you are at it!

I've been working on it for the past year with some breaks after work while also learning unity - so development isn't very fast but I sure am having quite a lot of fun with it!
