Extra Coin

Hi everyone, first time here, so let me introduce.

I'm Francesco Liotta, founder of a little Italian indie game studio called CINIC Games. We make games for PC & console with a strong narrative imprinting and peculiar art style.  Our first game, The Wardrobe, is a point & click adventure game, published in 2017 on PC and later on all consoles. And now we are very close to release Extra Coin, our second game. We've just announced the release date and took the opportunity to publish an open demo, and that's why we launched an itch.io page (https://cinicgames.itch.io/extra-coin) for the first time, looking for some feedback.

About Extra Coin

Extra Coin is a story-rich life-sim set between the real world and a virtual utopia, inspired by Night in the Woods and featuring a challenging time management system with compelling daily activities.

Key Features

  • An Emotional Journey Dive into The Arcade, a seemingly perfect virtual utopia housing most of humanity, and follow Mika as she unravels the mystery behind her parents’ disappearance. Take ‘em back home, whatever it takes.
  • Break The Loop Each day is a loop that you can fill with activities of your choice—minigames, arcade duels, or nothing at all. Just be careful not to slack off too much… moderators might not appreciate it.
  • Pixel Art Is Not Dead Explore a vibrant 2.5D world with a mix of pixel art and 3D environments.
  • Butterfly Effect Leave your mark in The Arcade, make it or break it. Whatever you do will change the outcome, with multiple endings.

In a world devastated by war and overpopulation, The Arcade offers a seemingly perfect escape. Will you embrace the illusion of a new life, or will you dig deeper to uncover the truth behind the glossy facade?

if you have made it this far, thank you from the bottom of my heart, and I hope to have a good time in the itch.io community!
