Gameplay:

Basic Controls: Players can move left and right, perform single or double jumps to cross obstacles, and even wall-jump. The character’s movement speed and jump height require precise control, especially on complex terrains.

Puzzle Solving and Dodging: In each level, players must avoid various traps (like fire, spiked balls, etc.) and interact with NPCs who assign tasks, such as collecting special items to unlock hidden paths for future progress.

Item System: There are key items in the game (such as glow bugs), and by collecting these, players can enhance their character’s abilities, like expanding the illumination radius to better navigate dark areas.

Level Progression: After completing each tutorial level, players can unlock subsequent formal levels. The game gradually introduces new mechanics through tutorial levels, preparing players to tackle more difficult challenges in the formal stages.

Game Features:

Lighting Mechanics: Players hold a flashlight to illuminate their surroundings. On the surface, ambient lighting is normal, but as they descend into underground areas, lighting diminishes, relying on the flashlight to explore. By collecting glow bugs, players can further expand the flashlight’s range.

Diverse Traps and Enemies: Players will face enemies like the SpikeHead, which pursues and kills the player upon contact, but these enemies follow predictable patterns, allowing players to use the environment to evade them. Traps such as flames and spiked balls trigger under certain conditions, providing a tense and thrilling experience.

Heat Resistance System: The game includes a heat resistance mechanic. When players enter extremely hot underground areas, the heat resistance value gradually decreases. Once it reaches zero, the character dies. However, standing on a fan can restore heat resistance, offering a brief respite.

Level Design: Levels are diverse in style. Early tutorial levels (e.g., 1, 3, 5, 7, 9) help players become familiar with the game's mechanics and controls. After each tutorial level, the corresponding formal level is unlocked, providing more challenging environments and enemies.

Item Interaction: In addition to glow bugs, the game features special items like pink melons. Players can interact with NPCs to complete tasks and gain assistance, such as activating fans to help restore heat resistance.

I played your game and I have to say it is really fun how ever I think it needs some polishing, to name a few there is no pause menu, save and load function, the sfx and music volume is load in my opinion and should be adjustable. in addition to that the gravity is little floaty.
