Hey everyone,
I've just released my indie game, A Gentle Brick-breaker, on Itch.io, and I'm really excited to get some feedback from you!
A Gentle Brick-breaker offers a fresh twist on the classic brick-breaking genre by incorporating realistic destruction physics that make every hit feel satisfying. However, I’m eager to hear your thoughts on how it plays and what could be improved.
This is my first full development project, so your feedback is incredibly valuable to me. I’ve also created a trailer for the game, and I’m curious if you find it convincing. Do you think it effectively captures what the game is about? Is there anything you’d suggest changing or adding to make it more attractive?
Here are some key features I’d love your feedback on:
- Destruction Physics: How do the bricks feel when they break apart? Does it add to the gameplay experience, or could it be improved?
- Gameplay Balance: Is the game relaxing and enjoyable as intended? Do you feel it’s paced well, or are there areas that could use adjustment?
- Customizable Backgrounds: I’ve added the option to use your own images as the game’s background. How easy is it to use, and does it enhance your experience?
- Controls: With multiple control options available (A/D keys, arrows, mouse), I’m curious which one you prefer and why. Do the controls feel intuitive and responsive?
- Visual Style: The game has a pixelated retro aesthetic. I’d love to know if this style works for you or if there’s anything that could be tweaked to improve it.

I would greatly appreciate any feedback you have! Whether it’s about the gameplay, visuals, the trailer, or anything else, your input is invaluable in helping me improve the game and making it more enjoyable for everyone.
Thank you so much for taking the time to try out my game and share your thoughts! It means a lot to me, and I’m looking forward to hearing what you think.
