I recently downloaded Nuclear throne together and I'm getting roughly 20 fps for some reason, which is weird because I can play the main game with 60 fps. I'm not connected to anyone else's internet so I'm not sure what's going on. Even if I decrease the window size the fps refuses to change. Any help would be appreciated.

The issue is moderately mysterious and restarting Steam before re-running the game fixed the problem for everyone so far.

It is supposedly something about Steam API choking instead of doing what it has to (NTT constantly has to poll it for friend invitations or they won't work).
