So recently I've been trying to find some source on finding out how to get the custom skins over to the Steam version of Hole Dweller, There's no definitive answer I've could have gotten so I took it upon myself to figure it out. Since the data between HoleDweller43 (Itch.io version) and the Hole Dweller (Steam version) are the same, all you really need to do is open up both HoleDweller files side to side and move over HoleDweller43 Data and Option Files over to the Steam version and you'll have the custom skins from there on out. Though I'm not sure if this impacts your save your save or not but hey, anything if im able to play as Zoroark in the Steam version again!

If things goes wrong on your end than please let me know, It's probably best if you made a back up save..

I can't really find a better way to prove that It works other than this, Im trying to screenshot it side to side with my steam and game, showing that it's running fine with no issues, you can even see me using the Zoroark Skin on the mini preview of the game here sadly...

I just want to say I appreciate it! This was useful to me. :>

Alright so I tried this out and it partially works! I get all the custom skins back but sadly uhh...other gameplay elements like battling or sometimes blocks like the xp block will crash the game.

That's an issue I soon ran into as well; this is also why I said it's best to have a backup save, I wasn't sure if this was stable. I tried to tamper with seeing what's the issue was back then. Part of me believe it's an issue with the "Data.win", Unfortunately I'm not what issue could be since I don't know how to get into contact with the Creator.

I'm not sure if the Creator has a Discord or any other site to communicate with, than again these are copyrighted sprites so at best the creator could only give hints into figuring out how to do it our-selves, so they don't get into trouble. Till than if I do figure out how to fix the problem, I'll give you an update as well as update the post.
