E X C A V A T I O N is a small pixelated graphics FPS game being developed on the old GoldSrc engine by a small multinational team called Red Hammer. It will be a short, high-production-quality, single-player-only total conversion mod/game.

The story takes place on Mars. You’ll play as a SWAT-equivalent operative, the sole survivor of your downed craft. You'll be attacking a small complex you were headed to, where a team of 8 scientists is secretly trying to activate an alien multi-biosphere annihilator they excavated. You will need to reach the annihilator beneath the complex and destroy it. The complex will be heavily guarded by humanoid robots. We are planning to have a few different endings.
