MacOS - "Import image" from File menu not working?

Hi! I've been playing with Decker and am running the Mac OS app, downloaded from itch.io. I noticed that.

-   The "Import Image" functionality in the File menu is not working

However:

1. I can drag-and-drop images into the Decker window, and this works as expected.

2. On the web version, File -> Import image indeed works.

So there seems to be a bug, but am not sure exactly what it is.

I'm not able to reproduce any problems with image import in the MacOS release build of Decker v1.45.

Could you expand on what you mean by "not working"? What type of image file is it?

Thanks! I'm running 1.45 as well (and Mac OS version 14.3).

The "not working" behavior is: after the file dialog pops up and I select a file and click "Ok", no images show up on the card, and there are no error messages / pop-ups reporting that something has gone wrong.

The image file is a png file.

Ok, I renamed the file and now it works.

I think it has something to do with filename handling. The filaname, in hex, is  "e280 af50 4d2e 706e 67", which appears as " PM.png"  (a space-like-character, then "P", then "M", then ".png").

This shows up in Decker's file picker as the following -- note the "?" in the filename.
