This is a 4x game that is similar but not quite the same as Master of Orion. Basically the goal of the game is too either take over the universe, or be the first person to unlock the last technology (other victory conditions will be added later). The game features tactical based combat for ship battles, with both navies fighting on a grid based battlefield, with the winner either keeping or gaining control of the star. It is a bit more similar to King's Bounty combat wise, but I do intend to work on it some more later to make it a bit more complex. At the moment it has a working AI and multiplayer with either hot-seat multiplayer or LAN based multiplayer (online works with port forwarding, at some point I will make a server once the game is more developed).

The main game-play differences from master of orion that has been implemented so far is the use of skip drives (like worm holes) which allow ships to go anywhere in the universe in 4 years/turns and the addition of planet buildings. This makes the game a bit less tedious in the midgame, as ships can be moved relatively quickly across the known galaxy and buildings unlock new possibilities not seen in the original game.

If you try out the game and find any bugs let me know, feedback on game systems or the UI is also appreciated.

I did publish this a little over a week ago, but I only noticed this place today. I released the first major update to the game today, as I added race traits for all the different alien factions, fixed many bugs found in play testing, and added a basic form of espionage (tech theft).
