I would be happy to answer any questions about the game as it develops!

Hello, Anything about the game? it looks interesting!

When a pdf WIP will be available?

I played Dark Souls 2 before, and this game looks going the right way making a TTRPG representing the souls genre being good and balanced and light too!

Thank you for making this.

Hello! I'm surprised I only just now got a notification for your question, I'm so sorry for the delay!

Since my initial post, I've been able to learn an awful lot more about TTRPG design, dark fantasy fiction and graphic design. (consider it a very productive hiatus...). I had a few playtest sessions that went quite well, validating the core concepts while finding ways to express them more clearly, as well as several pages of Mork Borg compatible monsters on deck -- Soulslike bosses included. You are correct, the goal is to have the game thematically match  Fromsoftware's "fading elegance," preferably with some recognizable terms and values on the character sheet.

The current state of the project: I already had a somewhat detailed Mork Borg hack laid out and several character sheets, which I simply never got around to posting. I will revisit these with fresh eyes and see how to get the most with the least. My goal always was (and will be) to have a PoD zine just like Weird North, a Cairn hack I'm also fond of.

Thanks to your interest, I'll push up my plans to get a WIP out sometime in the moderate-future within two months at the latest. It will depend on if my old work is up to my new standards. If that is unattainable, I may just post what there currently is after a quick touch-up.

Great!

Looking forward to the first "beta" if we could say.

I was reading this manual (it is a strategy video game inspired by board games):

https://www.illwinter.com/dom5/dom5manual.pdf

and found that the intro can be inspiring in a way or another. So I leave the link maybe it can help anyone.

Thank you very much
