1. When will the next version be available?

I usually release a new version of Lost Lagoon at the end of each month. You can check my Patreon for the latest updates and announcements about the game.

2. Can I use my old save file?

Check the devlog for your version to see if your old save file is compatible.
Save files from the EARLY ACCESS version will always work with the OFFICIAL RELEASE, unless it's stated otherwise.

3. Why doesn’t my old save file work?

Some updates require to change fundamental game mechanics and general data structure. Using old save files can sometimes cause bugs, because they aren't compatible with the new code. I do my best to make sure save files work in future updates.

4. How do I transfer my old save file?

For Windows users: Copy the contents of the "save" folder from your old version into the "save" folder of the new version.

For Mac users: Right-click the app and choose “Show Package Contents” to access internal folders like Contents/Resources/app.nw –  copy or replace the "save" folder from the previous version in there.

5. Why can’t I save my game?

This might be due to your computer’s security or privacy settings. Make sure the game has permission to create save files.

6. What is the difference between EARLY ACCESS and OFFICIAL version? 

The Early Access version is intended to give Patreon supporters earlier access to the latest version of Lost Lagoon. It doesn't differ from the Offical release version. The only thing that might be different are bugfixes that attentive Patrons found during their Early Acces gameplay.
