We are two video game design teachers from Chile trying to create a game based entirely with A.I.
The plan is getting the idea, the code and assets from different i.a's.
We have 5 months to present the project to the professional institute we work for.
We started asking Chat GPT, video game ideas based on restriction of making it an infinite runner that could be finish within 5 months.
We chose infinite runner so we din't have to design stages, assuming that this would make the task easier.
Game Title: "Plato's Odyssey"
Concept: In "Plato's Odyssey," players embark on an infinite runner journey through a world inspired by the philosophical teachings and myths associated with Plato. The game features procedurally generated landscapes that blend ancient Greek aesthetics with a futuristic twist.

Game Title: "Wind Runner"
Concept: "Wind Runner" is a simple yet creative infinite runner where players control a paper plane soaring through an ever-changing sky. The game focuses on minimalistic design, smooth controls, and an enchanting atmosphere.

- Swipe up to perform a quick ascent and down for a quick descent.
- The plane glides forward automatically at a constant speed.

- Obstacles include floating debris, birds, and storm clouds that must be avoided.

"Wind Runner" provides a serene and aesthetically pleasing escape, perfect for players looking for a straightforward yet captivating infinite runner experience.
We asked for 14 different ideas, but none of them were mechanically convincing enough. They all sounded like others game on the market.
But after analyzing the infinite runner ideas it gave us, it reminded us of an old videogame for DOS by Bluemoon studios, Sky roads, it was a perfect example of what an I.A might achieve. It's has few mechanics, it was incredibly engaging but simple.
Still we wanted to create something original so we chose to mix it with the concept of MAX SPEED RACING.
Instead of trying to reach a maximum distance. We will not cap the maximum velocity like in the original game and we will make the stages semi procedural and infinite, trying to get as fast as possible, t(hat will be your best score system)

We also conclude that the health could work as F-Zero's health/booster. So probably there will be + health pickable
So now that we define the basics, our next task will be choose an i.a and ask to reproduce the game and start learning out of that first promt.
