I’ve managed to get eeverything set up,but the server log keeps timing out. My firewall isn't disabled.  Not sure why this keeps happening. Any ideas? Using GMS2. It keeps saying it's connecting, then immediately says "timed out". Then attempts to connect again. This keeps going on and on.

If it's on a small enough project, could you email me it? Someone had a similar issue few months ago but it was only on one specific project and it worked for them perfectly on Windows, so they gave up figuring out what could be strange about it.

It's fairly large actually. I 'll see if I can replicate the problem on a smaller project.

OK, so testing on a smaller project, I was able to get it to work. Maybe my project is just too large?

EDIT: nvm. It seems to work in Windows for whatever reason. Just not in Mac...

That shouldn't be an issue unless GMS2 Mac runtime can't read HTTP responses past some specific length.

I'll see if I can reproduce this or anything - maybe that's a bug or I need a custom script to replace http_get...

I couldn't get it to work on MAC on a newer smaller project either.

Wow. Exactly the same happened to me!  (yup, I'm the one quoted) I'm really thinking in sharing my project privately to @YellowAfterlife so he can figure out what could happen

Still the issue is the same. The project is large
>> 796] ready! 42 live files, 6 globalvars, 1 macro, 607 scripts, 0 enums.
and on Windows there's no issue. But right now I'm having a big need to run it on mac

EDIT: Haha, using Wine I can work with live editing! It works correctly! So the issue is .. ¿neko?

interesting. I’ll have to give it a shot.
