Hello! My name is Alex. I'm transitioning out of the military after almost a decade, and wanting to gain experience to help me pivot into the gaming industry. I've been told by many industry professionals that GameJams is one of the best ways as a pure beginner to gain valuable experience and understand the design process and the aspects that go into game development. That being said I'm looking for a team that would tolerate an absolute beginner and help expose me to the above-mentioned things.
I've done what I can in the last few months to teach myself the fundamentals of C++ and C#, but by no means am I technically proficient. I'm very easy to work with as much of my career has required me to work on various teams in fast-paced, stressful, and highly collaborative environments.
Open to working on any Jam in any capacity - it would be my first one, so please understand I have zero experience and simply want to learn and to help out where I can! Thanks!
