Installation of itch.io failing | Temporary failure in name resolution | Cannot install the normal way since it cannot find the file itself.

Alright, so I haven't even made it past the installation stage, and I'm already encountering issues. More specifically, it has to do with installing inch.io on Linux, and installing it in the terminal or running the setup file as an executable; apparently, it cannot even find the file name for it.

I mean, this is basic-level stuff right here that my operating system isn't even getting right. No shade on my relatively new Ubuntu operating system or anything, but you'd think such a system like this would fit the definition of what it's supposed to be like to "kiss the blue screen of death goodbye." Lamenting aside, it's become clear that I need help from the itch.io community, and chances are, what I need assistance with is probably gonna be "stupid", although this is my first time getting serious with Linux, so there's gonna be bumps along the way. Thank you.
