The thing I love most about Andromeda Six is how natural it feels for everyone to be bisexual. Not at any time does the flirting feel forced or awkward, more so that humanity has been around for long enough that society has naturally changed over many centuries.
While I know this is done mostly for the sake of the reader being able to choose their own gender, the writing that went into making it feel natural is well done and should be applauded, because I've seen this very same writing style fail many others.
