Looking for feedback for my puzzle-platformer demo!

Hello everyone!

I recently released my first long-term game as part of my final university project.

I am looking for feedback on the difficulty curve, how intuitive the mechanics are, if the game is fun, if there is anything you would change/add, or whatever else you feel like talking about! It is playable in the browser and downloadable for Windows.

Thank you very much for reading! The link is below, if you want to check it out:

The game!

I beat the game in nine minutes and I have to say it got too hard too fast. I am a tooth and nail gaming veteran and I could see a lot of players bouncing off this game for having a steep difficulty curve. I would add more simple levels to ease players in. Those black things you need to grab with the light, I guessed I could do that. You did not tell me I could do that. As is it is pretty fun, but too hard and a little frustrating. More reaction time would be great.

Thank you very much for playing and providing feedback! Getting the difficulty right was and still is a challenge, I’ll try to get it feeling fair.

Hello ! I kinda agree with AxalKay, even if I couldn't finish the game. It gets hard really fast ! And I was blocked at level 1-8 (maybe I'm dumb however). The feeling is great tho !

Thank you for giving it a shot! I will also look into level 1-8, though I think it’s just a much harder puzzle than anything in the game thus far, which is something to address for sure.

Actually I could finish it ! The physics, the concept and the art are great !

Great! Glad you enjoyed it!!
