Suggestion: Lupin III games

Hello!

Your Retrofab simulations are really amazing! Here is a suggestion for 3 games (all based on the Lupin III franchise) to be emulated!

I found 2 manuals for 2 Epoch Pocket Digi-Com games based on the Lupin III Part III TV series on Archive.org. Both of these manuals are in Japanese (a language that I don't speak nor read), but I was able to make a guess of the gameplay of these games.

In the first one, Lupin must defeat/avoid enemies to rescue Fujiko (his love interest). First, he must avoid rocks thrown by a guy, then climb on a wire while beating an enemy standing in a pool under Lupin. Next, he has to fight a armoured enemy with a sword before taking control of a flying platform. After climbing that platform, Lupin has to kill the last enemy (who tries to whack Lupin with a trunk) before rescuing Fujiko.

In the second one, Lupin must steal valuable items by jumping on platforms, while avoiding (depending of the area in the game) a guard who will ring the alarm (he can be neutralized if you hit him with a plastic hammer), spikes, a camera with a gun, and Inspector Zenigata. After that, he'll pin a message that seems to indicate the presence of a time bomb and return to his helicopter.

I don't know the release date of these games, but it may be circa 1984-85, when the TV series aired. Here is the link: https://archive.org/details/20230226_20230226_1716 (Some of the images are in the wrong order)

The third game is more obscure (I stumbled on it while I was searching for other images for the 2 Epoch games). This one is called Lupin the third - Darkness Chateau, and was produced by Popy Electronics (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Popy).  This company, formed by Bandai, was known for making toys but also LCD games based on licenses such as Dr Slump, Doraemon or Ultraman... According to this site (http://
www.handheldempire.com/game.jsp?game=1388&position=16), this game was released in 1982. I managed to find a video with the gameplay:

Thank you and have a nice day!

Oh, these look really interesting. I'll definitely do some research on them. Thanks for the great suggestions and for the links to the resources!

You're welcome!
