Clipping resetting layers

When using the Clip linked sprites I've noticed it resetting the layers of the linked sprites and it ends up messing it up. Is there a fix on my end or should I wait for an update to use the feature?

That or the clipping just being completely ignored by some layers. Also when saving after changing layers, and loading in again/ loading the avatar the layers reset.

the clipping is dependent on the godot node structure, it has to reset the layer or it will break

ah shucks, at least wanted to make sure it wasn’t an ‘issue’ on my end. I guess I’ll just have to reset some layers properly when starting the program up at least for now
