My name is Blaine Locklair. I have a YouTube channel with over 160,000 subscribers dedicated to game system modding and emulation.
I am in need of help with creating a Vita game. I currently offer a game of my own creation (along with the incredible Robert Doman's help) , called Raven’s Core, as a “Freebie” on my website for visitors that sign up for my newsletter. However, Raven’s Core was written using GB Studio for the original Game Boy & Color. As most of my audience is centered around Sony system gaming, and not the Game Boy, it’s not the best fit for this purpose.
I’m looking to get help with creating a fixed screen shooter game for the Vita. Something along the lines of Galaga / Galaxian, the tried and true “drop from the top” dive bombing ships against the horizontally moving player ship at the bottom. Single screens with increasing difficulty as the levels progress. If you've ever play Chillaxians, it's a great model for something like this with a retro vibe.
This would need to be in .vpk format for home-brew-enabled PS Vita and PSTV systems.
