Hey! I'm making a new game and the demo is out! I basically want feedback on the entire thing, what should be changed, improved, or added. If you like or dislike it and why. Anything is appreciated!

Hello and first off I enjoyed this game, I like the colour scheme and graphical style. I encountered a bug throughout my playthrough of the game, one (pictured below) was this button within the main menu, This is probably just a scale/resolution issue with the build but worth considering.

I also have a few suggestions for design changes. I like the AOE damage after you kill an enemy but I found in the darker sections of the game that I was running into these areas and taking damage while not being able to actually see what was damaging me. I think making the AOE visible in the dark (making it glow) Would make this mechanic more fair.

Another suggestion is having an input in place to use the stairs to get to the next level. Their were times where I wanted to explore the level further but was taken to the next level prematurely.  Maybe pressing e to use the stairs would help get around this.

Otherwise I really enjoyed the game as a whole, looking forward to it getting released on steam

Thanks! I will definitely make the acid glow in the dark. I really like these suggestions! The stair problem is something I found annoying as well so maybe you'll have to shoot the stairs before entering? Idk, but to respond to the resolution scale, you must press the blue scale up button, which will allow you to view the game in full screen.
