I've been trying to craft the coolers for the frame but it keeps making drives on the workbench. Is there a trick to get it to work or is it bugged with the current experimental build of the game?
You need 4 metal and electronics instead of 3 to craft it, and you need to scroll down to 'Cooler' variant instead of 'Drive+' on crafting table

i also have that problem the note says 3 iron and 3 eletronic im in ver 0.7.0b3
It was a mistake then. It's still 4 of each. Should probably update to the official 0.7.0 version, now that it's out of experimental.
i have the 0.7.0b3 but i gess my is experimental, should i download the non experimental one?
Yes. The official update fixes a lot.
