Last.fm connection not working

When trying to connect Cider to Last.fm, I click on "Yes, Allow Access" and then the pop up window fails to connect to localhost. (ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED) Does anyone else experience this, is there a fix?

Just tested it and it works for me. Can you try again and see if it persists? Perhaps it was an unavailability from Last.fm's side?

Still won't connect, same error.

Same problem here

I'm also having this issue.

Maybe a fix: run Cider as administrator and try again. This was happening for me too. It did this on the original Cider as well, just paid for update and same problem. I realised the localhost error probably means it's on my end, and that worked...

Tried this already, probably not a fix since it does not work for me, or at least not a fix for my particular problem. Maybe it works for some people.

well turns out im blind, there are literally options below to activate Websockets API.

For anyone having this issue:

Check the WebSockets API box under the "External Applications Section" in the same connectivity tab as Last.fm connection.

Thanks, this solved it for me! Note you need to restart Cider after turning this on ^_^
