NewGame+ is a fan made continuation of the hiveswap friendsim games. 

Fanfiction, basically, but I slapped it into renpy with some reused assets. 

The first route is already complete and playable, but here I'll be updating my daily progress on new routes.

There's no set schedule, as I have a day job that has to come first, but I finished the first route in about four days so I'm slightly optimistic.

Did some rough outlining work today!

I want to add Ace Attorney style mechanics to this route, just to push myself, so I've been figuring out how that will play out. I think I should be able to code it with basic flags? Not too complicated, but a little more involved than the straightforward first route. I want to keep evolving it this way.

Tomorrow is my day off so I'm going to try and blitz through the script for the next route. It's going to be a lot longer and more complicated than the first one, so I probably wont be able to finish it in a day, but it's worth trying!

Well, I didn't finish the script today as expected. But I got a good chunk of it done and solidified my outline. I'll keep working on it tomorrow. Slightly worried that I've bitten off more than I can chew with this route in terms of length, but I can't turn back now! It'll just have to take as long as it has to take.

Been working more on the Teal Turnabout script and I'm really beginning to feel it's too ambitious for me right now. I'm switching tracks and doing the "Anime Club" route first. It's much more straightforward, but still includes a small gameplay section to continue pushing my scope forward. It's a good thing I answer to no one and can just make these decisions!

I'm glad I didn't set myself a hard schedule for any of this because it's going to take longer than I expected lmao. Just been doing real bad for the past three months honestly. Thought I was coming out of it, but I guess not. I'll keep working and I'll get the next section done eventually.
