You need to bring the bot with you to the store to preview out clothes making it more of a late game feature. As far as I can tell you can not preview bot parts. Being able to preview parts/clothes off the bot would be useful and make early game better.
oh. do you know how to take the bot out? ive read that I have to keep visiting the clothes shop and buying clothes, I have all parts as well but nothing seems to be happening
Sounds like you should have unlocked it already. Only thing I can think of is whether or not you are shopping for the clothes all on the same day or spread over multiple days.
