Hello. I'm looking for a project I can work on for practice purposes. I have no experience with working on games but have done art books and similar collaborative projects before so I have experience working with a team. I can draw character art/sprites, CGs and illustrations. Examples of my illustrations:

This post is long so I don't want to add more examples but for sprites/character art just imagine those guys without backgrounds LOL. I do have one short visual novel example on my page and a webcomic if you want to see more.

Important things:

- I am ONLY an illustrator, I do NOT do animations.

- Preferably want to work on casual, standalone projects. No series/similar long term commitment or anything like that, and nothing with hard deadlines as I do have other commitments.

- I am also looking primarily for original projects (not fangames or things like that) and would also prefer to draw in my own art style (while I can make minor changes to fit in with the needs of the game I would rather not change my style entirely and/or have to copy someone else's style).

- Any genre is fine, although my preferences are horror, fantasy, and whatever Homestuck's supposed to be.

- I have no particular triggers and am fine with horror/gore/NSFW/kinks/etc. My only hard limit is anything promoting bigotry/harm against real people, such as propaganda or the like.

- I am not looking for payment so game should be released for free. If you plan on selling it/making it PWYW, please discuss it with me upfront so I can think about it.

My e-mail: rolypolyphonic@tuta.io

If interested, please immediately introduce yourself/your project. Include important details like what kind of game it is, the story synopsis, what type of art you're looking for, your contact information/social media and whatever else you find important to note. Please do not send me vague messages like "wanna join my game lol"

Thank you for your time. :3

Please take a look. If it is your cup of tea or coffee or milk and my idea rhymes with your melodies. Please let me know.

Artists

Programmers

Music composers

Co-Writers

Sneering critics.

Cheering sympathizers

All are welcome.

Here is a video playthrough of the prologue of the project.

The team has an artist who is working on the characters now, but we still need better backgrounds inspired by ancient Egypt and also some more illustrations like battles and other events.

Your illustrations are so good!

Thank you very much. ^_^

I'm working on my first CYOA book at the moment and wouldn't hate some art for it. It's a WIP so definitely no deadlines (I work a full time job too so it's slow going regardless). I'd probably describe it as an urban fantasy with horror/mystery/romance elements depending on player choices made. Since it's my first one I'm likely to do a free release but would definitely let you know if that changes. As for art needed, totally up for debate on that, and would want to do some back and forth chatting to see what you'd prefer and/or think is best as I'm pretty easy going on it. If you're interested lemme know if you prefer discord or e-mail. I'm good with either.

Feel free to e-mail me with more details about the story, I would be interested in hearing more about it. (:

Hello! Is it possible for you to make thumbnail art by any chance?

PM me if you want to participate in jams together, I'm a programmer.

Hi dear Gryphon Software, I am game designer with fresh ideas and ambitions. Would you be interested in working on a storytelling 2d video game. My discord username is argi.argo if it interests you write me there.

Hi Roly, I am developing a multiplayer ARPG. I have reached a point in which I can't move forward buying assets, as the game has specific needs that I can't find anywhere, and I am horrible at drawing. I do have experience programming (more than 10 years, but I am new to gaming development).

Here is a video of the game right now: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1zE-25wV7OL2gMryRnNbI9NY4gxIVZZUP/view?usp=shari...

As you can see, I already have:

  • Multiplayer architecture, with a login sistem, a game server and a client.
  • Races, classes, stats, combat system, spell system
  • Enemies
  • A small world, with a robust tileset
  • Inventory, with a small amount of items
  • Other minor systems

I do have other job, so I work in this project just a cuple hours a day, and I am searching some artist that wants to learn, and use this project to do so.

Do you want to try? Add me to discor if you want: goos123

Hi Roly!

I am currently working with one other person on my visual novel: I am the writer / head director, they're the music composer, and we are looking for a sprite + CG illustrator! It's a fantasy drama romance involving an angel and a human researcher and it embodies a very melancholic / slightly gothic vibe if you would like some references? I already have the designs for the characters mapped out so if you would like more information + discuss reach out to me on Discord! My name is ryudio

Discord request sent!

Closing this for the time being but feel free to ask/share your info for future purposes if you're not working on a time-sensitive project. Thank you!

I'm working on a character creation app project using the Godot engine. There will be 2 version. The Free version and the Paid Version. Currently working on the free version of it.

Would you like to do some art for the free version, https://sonyblaze.itch.io/sbc-characters-creations.

The main goals of it is to build your own character and import to you own 2D game project. One of the goal is to have different styles you can pick from to use.

You can't continue to draw the way how you want to draw if you're interested please reply

Thank you for you time
