Hey everyone!
I'm back at working on a new Horror Game that I've had in mind for a while, and I've decided to call it SpectraSimulatia!


The premise of the game is that you connect to different frequencies through this console that allows you to run a simulation of what the Ghost is thinking/showing. Be sure to follow to see more updates if you're interested in the project!
This time I want to make sure that the "puzzles" I'm going to put in the game aren't to difficult to solve.

Estabilishing connections with ghosts and more!

It's been a while! I've been working on the roots of the simulation, establishing connections and saves!

The concept itself is basically done, right now I'm working on the game story and I've been thinking about the ghosts and interactions I should add to the game. I'm trying to find a way to make a cohesive story that makes use of things you learn through different connections.

I also wanted to add special developer tools that the simulation uses to interact better with the ghosts; right now I've added the Pointer!

You are supposed to use these tools through frequencies, just like you connect with ghosts, but I've been thinking about adding shortcuts to make the gameplay feel smoother. The Pointer is a huge hand that you can use to point at stuff to make the ghost aware about what you want to know.

You can also see in the top left of the screen that I've added an EMF indicator which is supposed to show your current level of interaction and maybe guide you a bit.
