If you've played LORD, you will know what I am talking about. I have written several prototypes of LORD in PHP/SQL but cannot release it, then a few years ago, I got addicted - ofc - to idle games (not clickers) - and recently got an idea to return back to my source, and make an IDLE LORD!

I did PHP/JS/ style, but wanted more of the old original feel - so started on an exe version. As of this writing it is functional and works. I am currently working on the cosmetics of it, loading and saving games  and much more.

Am intersted on you guys opinions.

If you are not FAMILIAR with the game, so some research. Mainly duck "NUKLEAR LORD" You can play it in your browser there.

Here are some screens to wet your appetite!

Lemme know what you think. Currently am waiting for the Publishers response to use original material, or if I have to change ALL the name.

EDIT:

The more I work on this, the more I realize, that I just made a re-imagined game from the BBS world that DOES NOT need a BBs to play on. When version 1.0 official is released, I will do my best to see if I can make this multiplayer. No guarantees.

Alrighty, will be uploading a (almost) playable version. This release is the actual game play from the days of old., I do not have the auto/idle portion added yet. That is next. There are some other added features that are not in the original either. Perma death is one, some exploits of the original are now met with servere punishment LOL

Also, this version is written completely from scratch, and in QB64, NOT PASCAL as the original. So all functions, formulas and routines are written form scratch as well, and from memory. So they may or may not be as the original.

Enjoy

 More screens coming.

so taking my weekend off to keep working on LOID, has made me come up with a strategy - do not go idle to soon.  And watch your gear for your first master.  :-)

OK, finally got the classes up and working (not tested). also added sexes as they will play a role later on.  All that is left is the end game. Later I will add some of the other features, like an Inn for more buffs.  Still working on the idea of adding multi-player, but it s NOT on my list of things to do at this time.
