it wont let me skewer the mushroom :[

Try putting the hand cursor right on the mushroom, not just the tip of the stick.

You have to chop it first, then skewer

You might need to right click.

if your using a mouse click the right button But if your using the mouse pad on your computer just tap with two fingers.

sometimes you cant skewer if the chopped food is to far off the cutting board. i had the same issue where my food glitches and rolls too far off my cutting board until I cant grab or  skewer it.

an option to avoid this is the place the food in the center of the cutting board before cutting it then putting the separate pieces aside for another food the chop if you need to cut something else and you don't want to skewer yet.
