It is now in my head canon that Viatica takes place in the same universe (prob different time period) and that MC from Viatica was slightly attuned to fire (cuz healing).
This game becomes inherently more funny if you start commentating it with sass. "What the hell do you mean check the list again there's only 4 things can we not *ucking count?" "Well I guess I'm going to eat this whole pizza by myself like a *ucking fat arse" "Nobody's home go *uck yourself" "Welp time to play Valorant now that I'm do- HOLY SH-" Also haha door physics go brrrrr.
This game was really fun! A bit infuriating when staring doesn't work but isn't that big of a problem. Although audio cues help with the game, I think it's possible to beat it without audio!
You can cheese the game by not getting too close to the enemy spawners and shooting from a distance. You can tell if you're hitting something due to screen rumble. Same thing with boss. Just don't step in and keep shooting.
I love this so much. The narrative is great, the plot, the characters, real chef's kiss. Feel like I'm the only one who goes for Rylan :P. Never knew how to pronounce her name so I say it like "Dave get the fishing net out, I'm Rylan' in a big one". Also made mc a responsible and diligent worker but caused burnout in chapter 11, which makes it sort of come full circle.
Okay, broken egg, bump into the tree with the egg in the roundabout section and keep following the egg until it breaks.
