I am trying to do this project but I only have very limited experience with programming, and I am no artist. If you can help me in any way, it would be greatly appreciated (Ideas, feedback, criticism, recommendations, even encouragement would help). Below is full description of project:

The Savior of the Fallen Dynasty

Hello everyone, 

I am looking a team for this visual novel project. I have little knowledge of Renpy and I am no artist. I used AI to generate the images so I also need assets and if someone has better knowledge of the software we can work together on the dialogues.   

Overview:

The last Pharaonic dynasty is in tatters. Cleopatra and her Roman allies might have killed Ptolemy, but I Arsinoe will not let this dynasty fall. With the ritual of blood, I gave my bloodline a new life and gave you a new body. Three men were sacrificed, a treacherous Greek soldier who turned on his Pharaoh, a captive roman legionary who fought bravely before he dropped unconscious and a commoner thief who eluded the city guards for a year. I wonder who is inside brother’s body. No, no, no! Don’t tell me! I don’t want to know.  Whoever you were before, now you are Ptolemy, pharaoh of this land of magic and dark secrets. If you were Roman, you will never see Rome again. If you were the traitor, you are the Pharaoh now. You cannot betray yourself. Or maybe you are the filthy thief. What an irony it would be. I don’t see a big difference though. My plan worked. Thanks to my trick, the people have risen in rebellion and the Romans have withdrawn to their citadel. Cleopatra is nowhere to be found, but the city is ours and so is the crown. Of course, we need to find her and kill her. But this can wait … let’s enjoy our victory. Yes, the face in the mirror is now yours. This mask is for life, I am afraid … but don’t worry. your life is safe as long as our plan is hidden. You will do as I say and all will be well. I will leave you to rest. I need you at your best in court. You will make me your new wife and Queen … but that too can wait. Rest now.

The World of the game:

Setting: solar punk ancient Alexandria in the Ptolemaic period. The city has a port with a and a formidable lighthouse operating with magical stone that guides ships into the port and out of it. It also protects them from demons and sea monsters and warns the city about invaders. The city also has the greatest library in the world full of ancient secrets and magical scrolls. The land outside is also full of magic and secrets. The city also has a Roman ironclad sea megaship. This megaship has a squad of roman special forces from legion XIII armed to the teeth. It is a threatening presence with which Rome flexes her muscles to frighten the Egyptians.

Factions:

Roman Legion XIII: While the legions of Rome strike terror in the hearts of all the nations of the ancient world, Legion XIII is a token force composed mostly of barbarian auxiliaries from Gaul and North Africa. There are some roman veterans who command the legion. They all answer to Lucia Antonina. They lack the numbers to invade the city but they can play a major role in the power struggles of the dynasty and its internal enemies. They are not in favor of a stable dynasty. Still, they cannot risk the grain supplies to Rome.   

Most of the legion are auxiliaries. There isn’t many of the above. Still, the auxiliaries are less likely to venture without at least a legionary leading them.

The Royal Guard: They are the Pharoah’s guard. They are clad in golden armor. While they are supposed to serve Pharaoh, some of them are rebels and support different claimants to the throne. The guards wear amulets of their masters. A perceptive Pharaoh can locate and purge the corruption in their ranks. Because upkeeping them is costly, there are only few of them. The rest of the Egyptian army is made up of peasant recruits and foreign mercenaries. 

The Amon Cultists: They follow a mysterious cult that demands the expulsion of foreign traditions from Egypt. They are not necessarily enemies of the current dynasty or of foreigners (except the Romans whom they do not tolerate at all). Some of them are from Kush and others from mainland Greece and they claim that the founder of the dynasty was one of them.  Akuna is a messenger of the cult, but even she does not know who leads the cult. Only time will reveal its secrets.

Guilds: There are guilds, crime cartels and mercenary bands that be hired for the right price or for the right favors. They only operate within restricted areas or for specific missions.

 Major Characters

Arsinoe is a beautiful and very ambitious woman. Her main objective is the survival of the dynasty.

Cleopatra second sister of the pharaoh and his former wife.

The Pharaoh’s younger brother Ptolemy. Everyone is called Ptolemy these days.

Akuna is a mysterious agent of the great cult of Amon. She is lethal and unswerving in her devotion to the old gods of Egypt.

Lucia Antonina is the representative of the Roman Senate in Alexandria. Take everything she says with a grain of salt. Grain matters to her more than salt.   

Julia Sabina daughter of Lucia and Balbinus Crassus Obba. She is not interested in politics, but has an eye for profit. Can go behind her parents’ backs if the price is good enough.

Zulikha is from the wonderful city of Antioch. Well, you cannot trust anyone from the court of Antiochus, can you?

Senator Villus Altus Arabius is a man of few words. He likes luxury and knows how to afford it. He is in charge of the grain.

Antiochus the younger, the rightful king of Syria, is a refugee in the pharaoh’s court.

Siphoniba Granddaughter of the famous Hannibal Barca. She is a mercenary in the Hawk band. She is no friend of the Romans or their friends.

Chancellor Clion is the pharaoh’s chief minister. He is handsome, but too Greek and corrupt.

Pericles king of Tyr. He has done something too bad to piss off Antiochus. Welcoming him to Alexandria can be quite dangerous, but he has made himself at home already. He is with the assassins now and no one can find him unless he wants to be found.  

The cat priestess knows no scruples when it comes to serving her cult.

Dionyza is after one thing, Pericles.

Merekares has sold his soul to the devil, but he is a servant of Pharaoh.
