The Christmas Creature is a short humorous Christmas themed horror game. The gameplay loop consists of preparing your neighbors' presents by mixing ingredients together and going out into the hallway to deliver it to them! However, you have a CJM - Christmas joy meter, that slowly runs out making you more susceptible to onslaught from the ill-wishers dwelling in the hallway.

The game features multiple difficulty modes and the average play session is several minutes long. Most mechanics are explained by the notice board in the safe room, but some are left to be discovered by the player.
