error: runtime error: invalid memory address or nil pointer dereference

Any time I try to look at installed games the message "error: runtime error: invalid memory address or nil pointer dereference" shows up. thinking it has something to do with the apps that say launch in the itch app, even though I don't have them installed. Due to it saying launch I can't really interact with said games to install them.

Tried doing a full uninstall and then reinstalling even the setup download for the app and still getting the error and ghost "launch" on the games.

Delete all the Itch.io files you have after uninstalling on drive C to fix the problem, I just did it and it was completely fixed:
C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\itch

hey this randomly happened to me and this isn't working for me, is there a specific guide for this or something
