Hai!
I'm a game developer who is not the best nor skilled. But I'm doing things in my pace. I'm currently working on a project with a team of 3. Having a second brain to help along the way could make a significant difference for me.
Now you may be asking yourself. What I mean by a beginner. I have around 20 hours at godot and general knowledge in 3D and control nodes which is I belive still beginner level. If you like to learn along the way with us. You are welcome!
Being familiar with gdscript itself and its nodes with gscript is enought, you might want to be have little knowledge on usage of the VideoStreamPlayer and AudioStreamPlayer nodes. Buttons, Timers, Vector3, Signals etc. Also the godot version is godot 4.1.1(latest steam version)
About the Project:
Name: Shadows Within
Genre: Psychological Horror/Story/2.5D
Basic Premise:
You find yourself as a respected senior scientist within a facility conducting experiments on humans. The game unfolds on a timeline where the facility initially functions smoothly, but things start to fall down due to betrayals and desire to personal gain. Following a series of events, you're left with two choices: lock everything down or escape from the consequences. As always...
Our Approach:
This is a hobby project and you can probably expect to not to gain anything soon juding by the current status of the development proggress. I expect this team as one that values open communication, idea sharing, and mutual support. We use discord to communicate and github to plan the workflow and keeping game files up to date among all members.
If you still have question, feel free to ask me!
