M.A.W.D. - "A Poor Man's TTRPG"

Welcome to M.A.W.D., this is a TTRPG made for anybody who would like a complex, adventurous, challenging, exciting, and long-lasting experience within a RPG. If you would like to play by yourself or with friends/family you may. The difficulties range in five categories; Passive, Modest, Explorer, Adventurous, and Dedicated. If you are wondering what M.A.W.D. means, it is an acronym designed around the four classes within the Realm of Arraja (The world which the character(s) explore, collect resources/minerals, have combat experiences, level up, complete quests, and overall exist in another reality). The four classes are; Mage, Archer, Warrior, and Defender.

Purpose

M.A.W.D. is intended to be a cheaper alternative to other TTRPG’s on the market. Although the game is dense with information, complex, and generally more difficult to learn than most other games, it is still a fun, and long-lasting game whether you play in a solitaire format, or with a group. This game is meant to be played slowly over the course of several days, weeks, months, or possibly even years. I will design two other variants that will be less complex shorter formatted version specifically for solo running a randomly generated dungeon, and one that is longer and meant for a maximum of 2-4 players.

Idea Log #0001

After fully developing this game concept, I have decided to code a digital version that you may play fully online, downloaded, or with friends/family in person, with a rough 50/50 split of digital and analogue
