SPOILERS AHEAD!
So, I'm not sure how to solve this problem but I'm having problems with the drift.ini file.
I've gotten to the part where I can see the Restorer just outside the fence just outside the parking lot.
However, whenever I try to change the "0.0000" to anything else like "20.0000" it doesn't move my character.
A temporary fix I used was moving the drift.ini file outside of the "imscared" folder and onto my desktop. Then I could change the number to a different value and set the file as Read-Only.
When I went back into the game my character went flying. Likely because it's programmed to reset whatever value you put in with "0.0000" after it moves you, but because the file was set to Read-Only it never reset. So once I was outside the fence I turned off Read-Only.
My problem comes after I talk to the Restorer. For whatever reason, I cannot use the same temp fix for getting back into the fence after she goes to the parking lot. And restarting the game at that point removes the Restorer and forces you to the 2022 Test Build again.
So, I'm not sure if I'm doing anything wrong. My firewall allows the game through. and I've had no problems with any other file in the game.
And I know that I could just watch someone else to see what happens but honestly, this game is amazing and I really wanna see it for myself.
