chess + yu gi oh + greek mythology = ?

Hello there! I'm miya7090 & I just added my Greek mythology-inspired game MYTHO: Game of the Gods to itch.io!

MYTHO is a bit of a mashup of different game genres: it's sort of like a collectible card game, sort of like a D&D-like board game. One player has described it as "chess but with Greek gods".

I've been working on the game since around May 2022. It was originally a fangame inspired by Mythomagic from the Percy Jackson series, but has since grown into something of its own! MYTHO is now in beta testing: you can currently play with a guest account, and I'm planning on a full public release on August 1st of this year.

In MYTHO, you can play against your friends (or, your enemies) or against AI bots! There's a tutorial bot, Buford, that may help in getting started. Like any board game, there's a bit of a learning curve, but we have quite a few players in the Discord server (https://discord.gg/enZQvhFaXm) who would be more than glad to share gameplay tips!
